The Crucible so far, about 1/3 of the way through
The Crucible is going well so far. I have read the first two acts of the play and I enjoy how scary it is. Since it is a play, it is difficult to read because it has no description other than dialogue about what is going on. What I am wondering is, if Abigail was murdered or are they predicting that Abigail will be murdered?
I find this book interesting because of Arthur Miller’s depiction of the Puritians, who he depicts as very quiet when times are normal, but very frantic when something out of the ordinary happens, such as witchcraft. I hope the Crucible continues to interest me and make me shiver while reading it.

As you read, you definitely should keep in mind the map that Mr. Olmstead gave you back when you were studying Salem…
